MobiHealthNews is reporting that Jeff Tangney, co-founder of Epocrates, has launched Doximity, a private network for doctors to find each other's public phone and fax numbers, share private contact info, locate 24 hour pharmacies, and exchange HIPAA-compliant text messages. The service can be used online via a browser or through a dedicated iPhone app.
